Floristry FAQ

  • How do I assemble the Easel?
    Construct the four pieces of the easel as shown in this diagram.

  • Do I need the internet to play?
    No. You only need internet access the first time you scan for the app. It is a web app, so you don’t need to purchase anything – it works like a restaurant menu. Once you scan, install the link on your home screen, so you don’t have to scan again – and never need the internet to use it.

  • Why is the score chart in the score card different from the easel?
    Oops! That’s a typo. The easel is correct. Sorry.

  • Where can I find the app to play the game
    Scan this QR code to find the app. We recommend that you add it to your homescreen, and the app should be able to help you do that.

  • Is the app all I need to play Floristry?
    You do need to have a physical copy of the game along with the app to play Floristry.

  • Can I play on my ____ device?
    Floristry has been tested on most iPhone and Android phones. While it may also work fine or other devices (like tablets), it is not officially supported. If you notice any issues on your device, please contact us.

  • How many of each tile are in the bag?
    There are 2 tiles of each combination in the bag, making a total of 42 tiles.

  • How is money scored?
    At the end of the game, whoever has more money may earn points. Take the difference in money and apply it to the Points chart on the easel and in the rules. For example, if one player has 12 money at the end, and the other has 7 money, the difference is 5, which, according to the chart, is worth 3 points. So the player with 12 money earns 3 points.

  • What do I do if I bid by mistake? Can I redo the auction?
    No, you can pause the clock if you need to stop, and it will reset at 15 seconds when you restart, but you cannot redo a round.

  • What do I do with my cat tokens during the game?
    Place them on “0” on your storefront frame. They are used to track your points during scoring at the end of the game.

  • What if I lose a flower tile?
    No worries, the game plays great even with a missing flower tile. In the last round, the winner of the auction will just get fewer tiles. If you are missing several tiles, let us know.

  • What are the rules for the Cat promo I have?
    Add the two Cat tiles to your bag. If you acquire a Cat tile in the auction, place it into your storefront as you would a flower tile. Cat tiles are worth one point if you have just one, but if you have both in a group, they’re worth 3 points total for the two tiles.
